What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Bells & Singing Bowls
At the beginning of each reading the Reader will ring a bell (or strike a bowl) three times. Definitely allow your intuition lead the way in the selection of a bell or bowl.
Sound can induce profound changes -- in the space, in your state of consciousness. It can be used to alert and call attention to the beginning and end of a cycle.
Tibetan bowls are one variety of bells that function very well in this respect.
With Tibetan bowls (as with all bells) when it comes time to choose a bell go with one you feel drawn to.
Getting a Tibetan bowl to sing can be a practice in itself. Try it for a period of 30 or 40 minutes and see what happens.
